Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our table games department during assigned shifts. The Table Games Shift Manager is responsible for ensuring all gaming activities are conducted in strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) regulations. This role is focused on maintaining exceptional guest service, protecting the integrity of all games, and fostering a positive, engaged team environment. The position reports directly to the Director of Table Games and is classified as a non-tip eligible role.
Primary Duties and Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for supervising dealers, dual-rate supervisors, supervisors and assistant shift managers.
- Provides coaching, counseling, and development to table games front line employees.
- Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling of personnel within the Table Games department.
- Monitor pit areas for proper dealing procedures, customer interactions, and irregularities.
- Handle and resolve player disputes promptly, in compliance with Happy Valley Casino policy and procedures.
- Assist Table Game Director with table layout optimization, staffing assignments, and operational flow.
- Review and approve fills, credits, and player ratings according to Happy Valley Casino policy and procedure.
- Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered consistently by all table games personnel.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all company and patron information.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of table games supervisory experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of all major table games (e.g., Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat).
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Must have thorough knowledge of applicable Federal and State Law, as well as Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Regulations.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with staff & clients.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office or other equivalent software as needed.
